Our Story

From her backyard in Los Angeles, Brandon’s cousin saw the glow of the 2025 L.A. wildfires creep closer, smoke choking the air as sirens pierced the cold January night. Trapped by horrific traffic conditions, they couldn’t evacuate, later saying, “If the wind blew the other way, we would have died.” That moment, so close to tragedy, opened our eyes to how real and urgent these disasters truly are. It gave our lives a deeper sense of purpose. In response to Brandon‘s cousin’s story, we came together as longtime robotics teammates bound by trust. With a shared belief in using technology to solve real-world problems, we launched R.O.M.A.
